Business Ethics and Leadership Faculty (Humanities Department)

Location: Kuwait (Relocation Required)

Note: Position open to unaccompanied candidates only


Overview:

The School of Arts and Sciences at the American International University invites applications for a full-time Humanities faculty position focused on business-related topics. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Business and bring a strong interest in ethics, leadership, and the social sciences. Courses taught will include Business Ethics, Business Psychology, Critical Thinking, and Business Leadership, delivered through a humanities-based lens.



Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Business Ethics, Business Psychology, Critical Thinking, and Business Leadership.
  • Develop and revise syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments in alignment with learning outcomes.
  • Create an inclusive and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that emphasizes ethical reasoning and leadership.
  • Offer academic support through feedback, advising, and regular office hours.
  • Collaborate with faculty across disciplines on curriculum design and academic initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and adhere to university policies.
  • Stay current with developments in business ethics, leadership education, and effective teaching practices.


Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree (or higher) in Business is required. PhD preferred.
  • Strong academic or professional background in Business Leadership, Ethics, or Business Psychology.
  • Minimum of two years of university-level teaching experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior business or industry experience is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate social science and ethical perspectives in teaching is preferred.
