Head of Human Resources – London (Moorgate, 4 days onsite)

Are you an experienced, hands-on, dynamic HR leader ready to run a full People function in a fast-moving organisation? I am partnering with a well-established education solutions provider with teams across the UK, Canada and Australia. With exciting growth plans, this is a fantastic time to join and make a real impact – including some HR project work coming up.

What you will do:

This is a standalone role, perfect for a proactive, energetic HR professional who thrives on building relationships with leadership teams and employees alike. You will be in the office 4 days per week (just minutes from Moorgate station, with nearby Liverpool Street and Bank stations) to ensure a strong HR presence and truly support the business.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for running the full HR function, including:

• Lead HR operations: payroll, contracts, onboarding, leavers, training, benefits
• Advise on employee relations and HR processes across multiple offices
• Manage Health & Safety, ESG, and HRIS systems and reporting
• Support upcoming HR projects to improve processes and employee experience
• Build strong relationships with leadership teams and employees

Who we are looking for:

• CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum) with solid generalist HR experience
• Hands-on experience in standalone Head of HR or Senior HR Manager within SMEs
• Energetic, proactive, and able to build strong relationships across the business
• Comfortable with hands-on HR operations and employee-facing issues
• International HR experience (Australia/Canada) is a bonus
