The Company

Our Client, is a well-established, market leading and global Lloyd's Broker, with a solid reputation in the London Market and a huge global presence.

Your new role, as a Broker, will be based in their hugely successful US Healthcare Division, and is focused on performing client and market facing Broker duties, for the placement of US Wholesale Risks.

Duties & responsibilities

• As a Broker, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and growth of a portfolio of US Healthcare risks
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, markets and the company network
• Assist with identifying new opportunities that will increase company revenue
• Negotiating with insurers and placing risks into the Lloyd's and London Market Insurance
• Provide expert advice to clients on Healthcare/Medical Malpractice Insurance solutions
• Responsible for attending client and insurer meetings
• Attending occasional business trips to the US
• Working closely with the technical team to ensure the accuracy of client and market documentation for the smooth running of placing risks

About you

• Experienced as a Lloyd's Broker, Account Executive or Account Handler
• Exposure to handling and placing Healthcare / Medical Malpractice Risks
• Experienced in Wholesale Broking - Preferably US Wholesale exposure
• Excellent relationship building, negotiation and client facing skills
