Group Accountant

Salary: £70,000 to £73,000 plus 10 percent bonus

Location: Greenford, West London

Working pattern: Fully onsite, with the flexibility to work from home a couple of times per month

Global Accounting Network is supporting a rapidly growing international group in their search for a strong technically minded Group Accountant to join their UK finance team. This role suits someone who loves getting into the detail, thrives in a fast paced environment, and brings excellent technical reporting skills.

The Role

You will support consolidated financial reporting across a complex group of more than forty global entities. This includes:

• Month end and year end close
• UK GAAP FRS 102 statutory reporting
• Multi currency consolidation
• Preparing consolidated financial statements
• Covenant reporting
• Managing the loan model and supporting bank reporting
• Acting as a key contact for audit
• Improving reporting processes, the board pack, and data quality
• Investigating data issues, particularly intercompany mismatches
• Ensuring accuracy and consistency across global finance teams
• No direct reports

This is a hands on, high ownership role where your accuracy, technical strength, and eye for detail will directly influence the quality of group reporting.

What They Are Looking For

Preferred profile:

• Qualified accountant through a top 6 firm
• Two to three years in a group reporting role in industry

Essential experience:

• Strong UK GAAP FRS 102 knowledge
• Multi currency consolidation
• Statutory reporting
• FX
• Advanced reporting and Excel skills
• Ability to identify errors and improve processes
• Comfortable challenging numbers and improving data integrity
• Someone who enjoys sharpening controls and tightening intercompany processes
