Student Finance Officer (Full-Time)

£12.21 per hour · 40 hours per week · Monday–Friday (10am–6pm UK)


UniUpp is one of the UK’s fastest-growing education support organisations, helping thousands of students access higher education each year. As we continue to expand, we are hiring a Student Finance Officer to support our operations team and ensure students receive accurate, timely guidance through the funding process.


This role is suited to someone with prior experience or exposure to Student Finance England (SFE) who can manage documentation, maintain precision, and communicate clearly with students.

Three-Stage Hiring Process

Stage 1 – Screening

We review your CV and your 90-second introduction video submitted through the application form.

Stage 2 – One-to-One Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a structured interview.

Stage 3 – Offer Letter

Successful candidates will receive a formal offer to join UniUpp.


Role Overview

The Student Finance Officer is responsible for guiding students through various funding and eligibility processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, and maintaining high-quality records. Responsibilities are intentionally broad to protect internal systems and workflows.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students through financial eligibility and application processes.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting required documents and evidence.
  • Carrying out administrative checks using internal and external systems.
  • Maintaining accurate case notes, updates, and internal records.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with students.
  • Collaborating with senior team members on complex cases.
  • Ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and accuracy at all times.


(Full training will be provided.)


Candidate Requirements
  • Prior experience or strong familiarity with Student Finance England (SFE).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise effectively.
  • Professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Reliability, consistency, and strong time management.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and learn quickly.


Working Hours

Monday to Friday

10:00am to 6:00pm UK time

Full-time, 40 hours per week


Compensation

£12.21 per hour, paid monthly.
