Are you passionate about cutting-edge medical technology, complex cardiac procedures, and supporting clinicians in delivering life-changing care? Our client, a global leader in advanced 3D cardiac navigation technology, is seeking a Technical Specialist to join their high-performing team covering the West Midlands region.
Everything you need to know about the role
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of sales and strategic objectives across your territory. This includes supporting clinicians in the EP lab, providing world-class technical expertise, and empowering healthcare teams through effective training and education.
You’ll be
- Supporting, promoting, and upselling advanced EP navigation procedures to drive catheter utilisation and grow the franchise.
- Providing clinical and technical expertise using advanced 3D cardiac navigation technology within the hospital environment / EP lab.
- Delivering tailored customer training to ensure confident, independent use of the system and associated devices.
- Executing marketing strategies and supporting the successful introduction of new technologies.
- Building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other critical clinical and non-clinical partners.
- Gaining deep insight into customer needs to deliver customised solutions and increase market share.
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
- Bachelor’s degree minimum (biomedical engineering preferred; Master’s desirable).
- Proven experience in a medical device clinical support role.
- Background in Cardiac Physiology, with Electrophysiology device experience (essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, self-disciplined, and motivated.
- Ability to digest complex technical information and articulate it clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with analytical and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
