Position: Clinical Researcher (STEM PhD)

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $70–$80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and refine research tasks grounded in clinical and biomedical science.
• Use medical and scientific databases (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, FDA, CDC) to inform task creation and validation.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to scientific standards.
• Develop evaluation rubrics to measure AI model performance in clinical reasoning and research contexts.
• Collaborate asynchronously with experts to ensure quality and consistency across outputs.

Requirements

• PhD in a STEM field from a top university in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Proven research experience in academia, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare institutions.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with clinical or biomedical datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to evaluate complex scientific materials.
