Ambassador Year in China (AYC) is a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to become Assistant English Teacher by spending a year teaching, learning, and making a difference in schools across China. 

Programme Highlights:

• 8,000 RMB stipend per month;
• 1500 RMB monthly utility allowance which is enough to cover water, electricity, internet and heating expenses;
• 8,300 RMB travel allowance awarded at the completion of the program;
• TEFL training and certification (free 120-hour course);
• One to two offline Chinese language courses per week provided by placement school;

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Native-level English speaker;
• Possess a valid US, UK, Ireland, Canadian, or Australian passport (required to obtain the TEFL certificate and Chinese working visa);
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (all majors welcome);
• Able to pass criminal background check;
