Part Time Play Workers for After School Club and/or Holiday Club

Working with children with disabilities after school and in the holidays. Fun, flexible and varied. 18 and over only. Option to work at After School Club or Holiday Club, or both.

1 - 32 hours per week

What are you going to do:

Working 1:1 and in a group to provide a positive, fun experiences for children with a wide range of special needs. Yorda Adventures is a charity based in Chessington in South West London. We provide an After School Club and a Holiday Club for children with disabilities in the local area.

What we offer

Play Worker pay is from £7 to £8 per hour depending on age and experience. After School Club hours are 2.45pm to 6.00pm. Holiday Club hours are 9.45am to 4.30pm. You may work for us at After School Club or Holiday Club, or both.

What we ask

  • We are looking for positive, energetic and sensitive individuals (18 and over) to provide fun and stimulating play experiences for children with a very wide range of needs.
  • You will be a great team player and an excellent communicator and be happy to get stuck in with messy play, sports and games, drama, trips to the farm, bowling, cycling, swimming and a whole host of other activities.
  • You should be within easy travelling distance of Chessington
