About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist service in Buckinghamshire for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join their bank of staff. This is a flexible, well-paid opportunity to support children and young people with autism and learning disabilities within a CAMHS setting.

You will provide hands-on, person-centred support as part of a wider care team, ensuring a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment is maintained at all times.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Working with young people with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Delivering consistent, high-quality care across varying shift patterns
  • Collaborating with wider multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to senior staff as required


Requirements

  • CAMHS experience (essential)
  • Experience supporting children with autism and/or learning disabilities (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Calm, compassionate and resilient approach to care
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
