Marketing Intern

A marketing internship contract to help raise the profile of a private healthcare practice in Glasgow.

£3.50 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

A private healthcare service in central Glasgow is offering a 6 month part time internship in marketing, with a 1 month probationary period. This job can be done remotely but Glasgow is preferable.

The Intern will be expected to:

  • Maintain the company's social media accounts
  • Plan and generate new content for the social media accounts
  • Be able to design simple graphics and flyers that may be used in digital and print marketing
  • Build contacts to generate clients according to company strategy
  • Have a good professional command of written and verbal English
  • Provide a weekly report of actions and progress

The internship will start at 10hrs per week for one month at minimum national internship rate; and then may increase if the intern is doing well and it is mutually benefitial. However, although the intern will be paid an hourly rate, if the company considers that there is not sufficient marketing progress after 4 weeks, the internship may be terminated after the probationary period.

We are looking to start someone ASAP. Please provide any examples of similar experience, and any public social media accounts you maintain that you are happy for us to take a look at.

This would be ideal for a student looking for a first job and aspiring to work in marketing and communications.

Minimum age 16.
