The role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in providing a full range of administrative and support services, ranging from moderate to complex, to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the team/department.

As the Team Assistant, you will support our team onThe Isle of Wightto ensure efficient and effective administrative practices, and resolve administrative and other queries related to the work of the department. You will intercept and screen telephone calls, emails, written correspondence and, dealing with, or redirecting enquiries to the appropriate areas, as necessary.

Please notethis role is a fixed term contract until31/12/2026with the possibility to extend.

What youll need

  • Understanding and experience of the range of in-house IT systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Orchard.
  • Understanding principles and practice of equality and customer care in delivering effective services. Commitment to providing a high-quality service to all customers.
  • Computer skills sufficient to operate on-line system and complex software or develop formulas for moderately sophisticated spreadsheets.
  • Oral and written communication skills sufficient to interpret and apply policies and procedures and to resolve problems, and to present a professional approach to all customers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of housing and / or repairs would be desirable.
