Residential Activity Leader for Summer Camp (near Cambridge), two weeks July in Letchworth Garden City

What are you going to do:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as Activity Leader and Residential assistant for our Summer School in Letchworth Garden City (30 mins from Cambridge) from 16 - 29 July. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and especially in sport coaching.

ESSENTIAL:

• 18 or over
• Native level English speaker

DESIRABLE:

• Experience in a similar role
• teaching experience
• TEFL, CELTA, etc.. certificate
• Sport or Coaching experience and/or qualifications

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the planning and implementation of the Summer Tour activities
• Support the Operations Manager in managing the team of Activity Team Members to ensure the smooth running of activities
• Supervise and help the students, including dealing with welfare and discipline concerns
• Undertake residential duties, supporting the Matrons with pastoral care

WORKING HOURS*:

You will work a 6 day week (approximately 48 hours)

• 3 hours afternoon activities (Mon - Fri)
• 2 hours evening activity after dinner (Mon - Fri)
• 8 hours (Sat OR Sun)

This adds up to about 33 working hours a week, to be complemented by full day excursions and/or Residential duties depending on the timetable.
