Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesWorking alongside other healthcare professionals, successful candidates will be working in busy patient areas gaining an insight into care and how a modern hospital works. Candidates will be fully supported in learning new skills so they can work safely and calmly in our wards and clinics. This will include learning a variety of tasks such as supporting patients with fluid and dietary requirements, helping with menu choices, supporting personal care activities (i.e. washing, dressing, going to the toilet), making beds, keeping our areas clean and tidy, as well as appropriate record keeping and helping other clinical staff in their duties.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft word and outlook

- Demonstrates a calm, caring and compassionate nature
- Demonstrates a desire to complete a Health Care Apprenticeship
