This opening is only for those who have completed their GCSE in 2026 with a predicted/achieved grade of a minimum of 7 in English and Maths.

Job: Martin's Tuition Academy is now recruiting Part-Time Classroom Assistants to join their current team. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable assistants to work with our students who range from Year 2 to GCSE. Classes are held on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings, including school holidays. Hours may increase shortly. 

As a Class Assistant, your role will involve:

• To help set up and clear away space before and after class
• Help in English, Mathematics and 11+ subjects
• To accurately mark and record students’ work and complete reporting methods
• To check homework sheets
• To supervise specific student activities e.g. listening to and assessing reading

Key skills and experience required for this role are:

• Minimum of grade 7 achieved in GCSE Maths and English. We may be able to consider grade 6 for one subject.
• An ability to develop a professional and caring relationship with children of all ages.
• A passion for education and the development of children.
• Be able to work as part of a team
• To be punctual and regular in each class
