Kids Do Art run After School Clubs and Holiday Camps for children at The Art Stables, Sternberg Centre, 80 East End Road, London N3 2SY. Nearest tube Finchley Central. We are looking for a part-time teaching assistant during term time. Hours: Mondays 3.30pm - 5.30pm ( 2 hours), Thursdays 2.30pm - 5.30pm ( 3 hours). We pay £10 per hour. Would suite someone either with an art background or interest in Art or someone who has experience working with children and who lives locally.
To work as a class room assisitant with children 5 - 11 years. Class size 20-25 students. You will assist a lead Art Tutor in the following activies:
1. To set up class and equipment for students
2. To help collect students from class with the Art Tutor and somtimes independently
3. To help supervise children during lesson time and to help with art activites
4. To sign studetns out to parents after class
5. To help pack up class setting

Kids Do Art run after school clubs and holiday camps and offer a range of exciting 2D and 3D projects that have been developed to encourage creativity and to broaden visual language. This is a wonderful way for children to learn technique and to express their creativity under the supervision of professional artists. Skills are developed in painting, drawing and model making.
