Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, Term-time only
(Tues, Weds, Thurs 08:30 - 16:30)
Payscale: Scale 3, Points 6-7 (£13,651 - £13,869pa)

If so, we are looking for a Student Reception / Medical Assistant to join our forward-thinking team. Experience is preferred, but training can be offered for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and caring individual to play a key role in supporting the welfare, wellbeing and day-to-day experience of students.
Acting as the first point of contact within the Student Reception area, the successful candidate will provide a professional and welcoming service to students; managing student sign-in and sign-out procedures, handling enquiries and supporting the smooth running of the school day.
Alongside reception and administrative responsibilities, the role includes
- Administering basic first aid
- Maintaining accurate medical and accident records
- Supporting the management of student healthcare plans
- Coordinating medical provision across the school.
The postholder will liaise with parents, healthcare professionals and school staff regarding student medical needs, support immunisation programmes, oversee medication administration procedures and ensure first aid resources are maintained and readily available.
Working closely with pastoral, attendance and safeguarding teams, the successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where students are able to thrive both academically and personally.
You will have:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills supported by relevant qualifications.
- Confidence in dealing with a wide range of people.
- Understanding of child protection policies and procedures
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
