Hospitality Staff and Betting Operators at Ascot Racecourse

What are you going to do:

Working as a betting operator entails, serving betting customers with a smile; taking and paying out bets, as well as helping customers who require assistance with understanding bet types.

While working within the hospitality team will offer many different roles such as, bar staff, plate waiters, lead waiters, baristas, runners and team leaders- there is a role that will suit everyone!

After completing paid training, you will be working at Ascot Racecourse as a betting operator or hospitality staff, per the type of training you choose to take part in. There is opportunity to continue with this type of work at Ascot after Royal week and the other racecourses that we work with. Ascot races pair up nicely with University holidays, so this is a perfect opportunity for students!

If you wish, you will also be eligible to work in hospitality and bar/cashier roles at our other non-racecourse venues as well such as Oval, O2 Arena, Twickenham, Chelsea Flower Show and many more. These roles are extremely flexible, giving students the opportunity to earn some extra cash throughout their studies.

Extra information

Experience is not required as full training is provided for free and you will be paid for this. Any experience that you do have, however, will strengthen your application.

All suitable candidates will be called and invited for a 5-10 minute phone interview before booking them in for one of our group assessment session.

Candidates successful at application stage will be invited in for a small group assessment (2 hrs) at our office in Oval, London.

*Once you are successful at the assessment here in London, you will then be required to attend the paid training and live day.
