Catering Assistant

What are you going to do:

As we are looking ahead to an exciting calendar of events including Download Festival, Wireless Festival, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, and many more events this summer. We are recruiting for catering assistants to work our busy summer season from May – September.

Accountable for achieving;

• Maintaining the high standards of presentation and service of D&J catering
• Adhere to existing procedures, health, safety and hygiene procedures

Main Duties to Include;

• Cash handling
• Customer Service, greet and provide a welcoming service to customers
• Upselling and maximise food and beverage sales
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Willing to stay away on occasions for festivals and events

Personal Requirements;

• Relish working in an outdoor environment
• Has a 'fun' and 'can-do' attitude
• Attention to detail
• Takes customer service, food and fun seriously
• Well-presented and positive

Qualifications and Experience;

• Level 2 Food and Hygiene (not essential as training will be given)
• Good knowledge of food and drink
• Good communicator

Working Hours; Casual Basis, between May- September
